Therefore, we have prepared information for foreign participants regarding obtaining visas.

But in order to obtain a visa, you must fulfill the requirements of the state.To obtain a visa to Russian Federation, a foreign citizen must apply to the Russian consular office at the place of his/her permanent residence.
Russian consular offices issue a visa depending on the purpose of the trip and the duration of the foreigner's stay on the territory of the Russian Federation.

A tourist visa can be single or double entry for up to 3 months or multiple entry for up to 6 months.
To apply for a tourist visa to Russian Federation you need:
1. Passport. A valid foreign (diplomatic, service, ordinary) passport or other identity document recognized as such by the Russian Federation.
2. Completed visa application form. The visa application form is filled out electronically on the website https://visa.kdmid.ru/. Should there be any difficulty filling out electronically, it is allowed to fill out a visa application form in handwritten form or in printed form
3. Two photos 3.5 x 4.5 cm (either black and white or color) with a clear front view of the face without tinted glasses and without headgear (with the exception of foreign citizens for whom the permanent wearing of headgear is mandatory) an attribute of their national or religious affiliation, provided that the foreign citizen is depicted in such a headdress in the photograph in the passport).
4. Payment of the consular fee. 5. Confirmation of hotel or other accommodation facility reservation, information about which is contained in the Unified list of classified hotels, ski slopes and beaches.
The hotel reservation confirmation is filled in on paper electronically without corrections, signed by an authorized employee of the hotel and certified by the hotel stamp.
The hotel booking confirmation must contain:
- the name of the document "Confirmation of hotel reservation", its number and date of issuance;
- company name of the hotel, actual address and registration number of the certificate in the Unified list of classified hotels, ski slopes and beaches;
- information about the foreign citizen to whom the confirmation has been issued (last name, first name(s), date of birth, gender, citizenship, passport number or other document recognized by the Russian Federation as an identity document of a foreign
citizen);
- date of arrival at the hotel and date of departure from the hotel;

6. Russian Federation of Modern Sword Fighting would be happy to provide an additional document for your visa application – an invitation to a sport event, which would additionally confirm the purpose of your stay in Russia, but this document will not be the main reason for issuing your visa.
