The 4th Open European Championship in Modern Sword Fighting 2018

On March 11, The 4th Open European Championship in Modern Sword Fighting 2018 took place in Minsk and gathered representatives from 17 countries: Austria, Belarus, United Kingdom, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Cyprus, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Moldova, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, France and Estonia! 
The competitions lasted 3 days: on March 9, 156 sportsmen took part in individual competitions among children from 3 to 17 years old, on March 10, 132 fighters took part in individual competitions among adults, on March 11 in Team Battles 5vs5 in MSF among children from 6 to 17 years old 22 teams - 122 fighters took place! We can rightfully call this Championship the most representative in the history of MSF at the moment! 
The Championship was judged by an international team of 30 judges from 12 countries! 
For the first time, at the 2018 European Championship in MSF, with the support of the Federation of Duel Fencing, a new nomination was introduced - "Duel Saber", which caused a great interest. 
The second year in a row, there were competitions in the nomination "Shashka-Buckler MSF" and unique competitions of League C among people with cerebral palsy and POA. For the first time, this year, League C held competitions on the "Triathlon" system. 
Team Results of the Medal Competitions: 
1st place - Russia 
2nd place - Ukraine 
3rd place - Moldova 
4th place - France 
5th place - Latvia
