2 nd International Tournament on Contemporary Sword Fight
January 27, 2013 in Israel (Petah Tikva) successfully passed the 2nd International Tournament on Contemporary Sword Fight (SMB) "ISRAELI CHALLENGE 2018", which was attended by about 40 athletes from 9 to 40+ years from 5 countries in 6 categories by sex, age and weight. Especially it would be desirable to note young fighters from Karmiel, under the guidance of the experienced trainer Israel Gitelman, whose training level has grown substantially over the past year. Especially all spectators and judges were admired by young warriors Zoya and Margarita, who showed not only good technique, but also an unbending will to win. In the adult categories of SMB, serious international competition was observed and the pedestal was rightly shared by representatives of different countries, which is very encouraging. It is also worth noting the successful performance of the Moscow youth of the School of SMB "Escalibur", which adequately fought with adult lightweights and showed a high level of training. Danil Moroz took 1st place, and Eugene Lozhkin - 3 place.
Congratulations to the winners and prize-winners! We thank all the judges, support, photographers, organizers and personally @ Michael Morgulis, @Michael Epelman and the whole club "MFC", which are striving to develop more and more in Israel knight battles and SMBs from year to year. The culmination of the tournament day was a beautifully organized evening series of professional fights under the WMFC version, where 5 pairs of fighters from Israel, France, Italy demonstrated magnificent fights. We are waiting for the winners of the International SMB Tournament in Israel as part of the National Team at the 4th Open European Championship on SMB 2018 on 9-11.03 in Minsk!
